An unforgettable evening for book and library lovers who want to give back, connect, and have a great time.

Not your usual library visit: after-hours access to inspiring donor-supported spaces, a live DJ, curated food and drinks, and bookish fun all night long.

Together, we will raise funds to build free Early Learning Spaces at VPL branches, vibrant, play-based spaces where children aged 0–5 discover play, learning, and connection right from the start.

Why It Matters

One in three BC children enters kindergarten developmentally behind in one or more areas critical to their future success. The library reaches this group with zero barriers, across every background and experience, before school ever begins.

Last year, VPL’s early years programs reached over 140,000 children and caregivers and there are still many waiting to be reached.
